These Terms of Service govern your use of programmingvilla.com and the courses and programs offered by Programming Villa LLC ("Programming Villa", "we", "us"). Please read them before submitting an enrollment request.
Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or submitting an enrollment request, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. Learners aged 16 or 17 may enroll with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf.
Description of Services
We provide online web development education and training services: self-paced courses, project-based and guided project courses, mentor-supported programs, cohort programs, advanced mentor programs, small-group bootcamps and a premium 1:1 capstone program.
Course and Program Information
Each course page lists its price, duration, estimated learning hours, format, what is included and its delivery timeline. We may update lessons, examples and tools to keep content current, provided the scope of what you enrolled in is not reduced.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are in US dollars and are shown in full before you submit a request. No payment is charged on this website. After we review your enrollment request, we email you an invoice or secure payment link. Accepted payment methods are listed on the invoice. Applicable sales tax, where required, is shown on the invoice.
Access, mentor assignment and session scheduling begin after payment is received.
Enrollment
Submitting an enrollment request does not create an enrollment. Your enrollment is confirmed when we accept your request by email and receive payment. Cohort programs, advanced mentor programs, bootcamps and the 1:1 capstone are subject to availability; if a program is full, we will offer the next available start date or cancel the request at no cost to you.
Course Access
Access is provided according to the timeframe and access period stated for each course or program, measured from the date access is activated. Access is personal to you; you may not share login details or resell access.
Mentor and Cohort Services
Mentor reviews, office hours, live group sessions and 1:1 sessions are provided as described for each program. Response and scheduling targets are stated on each course page.
Live and 1:1 sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions missed without notice count as delivered. If we must cancel a session, we will reschedule it at no cost to you.
Certificates
Courses include a digital completion certificate issued after you complete and submit the required work. Certificates are records of completion issued by Programming Villa and are not accredited academic credentials.
Intellectual Property
Course materials, lessons, code templates, project briefs and documentation are owned by Programming Villa or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own learning during your access period. Code you write using our starter files may be used in your own projects and portfolio.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to share access credentials, copy or redistribute course materials, submit work that is not your own for review, disrupt live sessions, or harass mentors or other learners. We may suspend access for serious or repeated violations.
User Content and Submitted Projects
You keep ownership of the code and projects you submit. You allow us to store, review and comment on your submissions to provide the service. We will not publish your work or use it as an example without your written consent.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate the website, deliver form submissions, send email, process payments and host course materials. Their use is also governed by their own terms.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
No Employment or Income Guarantee
Our courses and programs are education and training services. They do not include employment, income, salary, client acquisition or job placement guarantees. Results depend on your own effort, experience and circumstances.
Service Availability
We aim to keep the website and learning materials available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If an outage of more than 72 hours affects your course, we will extend your access period by the length of the outage.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the website and services are provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a course or program is limited to the amount you paid for that course or program. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Changes apply to enrollments confirmed after that date.
